Pinewood CottageIt’s come around quickly… December is nearly around the corner bringing with it Christmas and the New Year.

If you are looking for an escape over the festive season then we have just the place for you – Pinewood Cottage. We have some late availability for 3-night short breaks across Christmas, twixmas and the New Year, but hurry… these are booking up fast!

Stay in one of our self-catering apartments and you can enjoy the comforts of home – we’ll even have a Christmas tree up in each unit!

What’s happening locally?

There’s lots going on in and around the New Forest in the lead up to and during the Christmas period.

On Thursday nights in the lead up to Christmas, Lyndhurst’s shops will be open for late night shopping. Grab yourselves a special souvenir or unique gift from one of our village’s many independent stores.

Don’t feel like cooking? Then there are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby that’ll be serving up special meals for Christmas celebrations. You’ll even find some that are open on Christmas Day. Take a look at the New Forest website for more details.

You’ll find some special events taking place up to Christmas including Christmas Canoe Paddles with New Forest Activities (various dates in December), a candlelit performance of Handel’s Messiah (23 December at Beaulieu Abbey Church and Christmas at Mottisfont. For full events listings, check out the New Forest’s website.

Stay at Pinewood Cottage

As we mentioned earlier, we still have some availability over the festive period, so if you fancy staying in the heart of the New Forest, with ample walks into the National Park and much more, book now.

Guests booked in for a break over Christmas will also receive a bottle of prosecco and a box of chocolates upon arrival.

On behalf of the team at Pinewood Cottage, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
